Dainty herringbone chains like the Baby Margaret are fragile and can be prone to kinks. Follow the steps below to avoid this:
1) When wearing the chain, try not to get it tangled with your other necklaces. If it does get tangled, unclasp the Baby Margaret and slip it out as opposed to trying to untangle them while you're still wearing the necklaces
2) Do not sleep in the Baby Margaret chain as it could kink while you're moving in your sleep
3) Store this chain laid flat and loosely coiled
